comment huh.tnx!

there was a time that we were asked what from the past we want to come back..

and I wrote…the summary of this article…☺

I missed the times we shared together…
Together laughing, talking about everything and nothing specific….

Excited about the stuff that triggered the teenage hearts within us…
I miss the music of friendship we all shared, amidst the obstacles and hardships in the four corners of our beloved school…
I miss the jamming…

1_695023968l.jpg
I miss singing the songs in our hearts…
Songs that we still love even for the thousandth time we sang those…
The strum of guitars that refreshes our exhausted mind and body…

I miss the friendships and fights…friends and foes…pros and cons.
Of course we all have our own personalities and attitudes.

1_701318784l.jpg
Yet, magically our “I” became “we”…
Hearts attached…
Minds agreed…
Times shared…
Sacrifices done…

Now, it makes me smile when I remember
How we fought during our practice for performances, major or not…

1_360657750m.jpg

How we shouted at each other, or for those who are passive…murmured words under their breaths…
Nevertheless, we are united in terms of…
Well…
Cheating. Especially in times we are unprepared or we really didn’t want to prepare at all.
Cutting classes, hahaha. You know what we did…and the consequences we faced…
Backbiting people….Namely our voracious teachers, sorry for the term but it is quite true. Ü
…and all the paepal people around us…

We were busy all-day long…
We listened…discussed…recited…took tests…cheated, or became selfish…considered right the wrong answers of our close friends, aminin…Ü

We sang…danced…played musical instruments…
Who would forget the star instruments guitar and beatbox? And the favorite rainmaker and bungkaka?…

We read long stories, and those they called “short stories” but 20-page thick, damn it! Razz
We reported lessons…issues…insights…

We played games…patintero…all games of playing cards…etc.

We acted…we laughed…we cried…
We jumped for joy for unexpected high grades and victories

1_865017232l.jpg

…and were also doomed by our grade cards…

We all longed for boring classes to end…and if we can’t wait anymore, it’s better to sleep but we made sure we will not be caught by our teachers…

We read pocketbooks behind the textbooks…haha, sinong tinatamaan?
We always posed for every camera aimed for a shot…

1_713667869l.jpg

We took videos of nonsense things…like eating mango with bagoong for example.hahaha

We talked…and talked …and talked …and talked …and…

We ate junk foods, banana, green mango, suman, cassava cake, sopas, mais con hielo, and all breakfast, lunch and dinner…
We became “suki’s” of Jollibee, Avegon, Neva’s, DD, Foodcourt, talipapa, canteen, etc…

1_777682621l.jpg

We loitered in classrooms, waiting sheds, corridors, restaurants, baybay, or any of our friend’s houses…

284626480l.jpg

We cleaned our classrooms, the school…when there are visitors, and Puerto Princesa…thanks to CAT and Brigada Eskwela…Ü
We all protested against the heat of the sun, the dirt in our uniforms, and the mud on our newly washed shoes…or to our teachers in particular…
We did almost all things under the sun…and moon. Ü

Speaking of uniforms…haai.

1_803992525m.jpg

How I miss wearing that white blouse with green necktie and white-washed logo replaced with badges, and green skirts…white polo with multi-colored undershirts and black pants for boys of course…hehehe…
We were free to wear any footwears we liked…some are black shoes, some chuck taylor shoes, rubber shoes, tennis shoes, doll shoes, slippers, or worst…bedroom slippers!
That uniform made us spied by security guards in malls…
That uniform was a symbol of “pasaway” students…
That uniform was our companion to all experiences in Palawan National School…
That uniform is a dress once worn and can’t be worn again, or is it?

I miss the first day of class…can you still imagine our innocent faces then?
I miss the Induction Party…Christmas Party…and all the fun games, exchange gifts, and intermission numbers…

1_430220317m.jpg

I miss the Prom Night…haaai, the prom…

1_299790759m.jpg

I miss Kagueban…makipagsiksikan ba naman sa truck ng basura makatanim lang o makakita ng artista??
I miss Paskuhan…
I miss watching the giant Christmas tree glitter with elegance…
I miss watching the concerts of popular artists…
I miss Balayong Festival and Baragatan…and the street dances…

I miss the Centennial Celebration in our school…What could be happier than converging alumni of our school again??
I miss the human peacock…

1_963872126m.jpg

I miss our costume!hahaha. Ü

1_840655074l.jpg

I miss the words that seemed alien to other people but native to our tongues…
Lakas! Energy! Baka Jjampong…Baka boret…

I miss the Graduation!!!

1_273493304m.jpg

Of course we will never give up and never give in…
In our hearts there will always be a place for each of us for all our lives…

I miss the musical plays…

1_250332411m.jpg

And of course, I miss the Farewell Party, especially the last that really meant “farewell”… :’(

901214394m.jpg

1_796479069m.jpg

I miss our school…

I miss the old buildings…especially the creepy ones…
I miss the ghost huntings…

I miss our teachers, I miss our lessons, projects, assignments, practicums, periodical tests…
I miss the kilig moments…
I miss special persons…
I miss you all…
I miss Magdalo…

1_222130756l.jpg

I miss highschool…
Do you?
All those times felt very lengthy before…
We were so impatient and wanted time to run fast…
But now, all we wanted is to turn it back…
It seems like yesterday, right?
Yet it feels like a century has gone…
Now, count all the past tenses of verbs used…
Don’t you miss the past?
Is past really past?
Can’t we do all of those things together again? …
